Description

Anastasia State Park will host a “Low Tide Bike Ride” to promote physical and healthy lifestyles. This experience will give our visitors a great cardiovascular workout on one of the most remarkable beaches in Florida. Meet a Park Ranger at the Beach Store and Grill pavilion located inside the park 15 minutes prior to the event. This Ranger led event will start with a three and a half mile low tide bike ride and bird watch. Participants will enjoy an ecology chat at Conch Island, the northern most point of the park, and then begin the return trip. Riders should be prepared for weather conditions on the beach which could be influenced by heat, cold, wind and sand. Bring at least one pint of water, bicycle, snack, binoculars, and sunscreen. Bike rentals are available at Island Beach Store and Grill located within the park.

Regular park entry fees apply.
