| Description | The Ritz Theatre and Museum is looking for talented performers of all ages, to compete in our wildly successful monthly show, Amateur Night At the Ritz! Amateur Night is a variety talent competition. We accept a wide variety of acts, including singers, dancers (solo & group), mime acts, comedians, rappers, solo instrumentalists, spoken word performers, and others. Auditions will be held on the second Thursday of the month from 5:00-6:15pm at the Ritz Theatre and Museum, 829 N. Davis Street, in downtown Jacksonville. All auditioning minors need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who will need to complete required audition paperwork. Auditions are closed to the viewing public. No family, friends or well-wishers will be permitted inside the building.
