Sea Island will celebrate all the best that Southern cooking has to offer, from comfort food to cutting edge, during its “Southern Grown” weekend, June 22-24. “Southern Grown” will feature a full plate of meals, cooking demonstrations and experiences throughout the resort.

FRIDAY, JUNE 22:
6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
The weekend begins with a “Country Fair” inspired evening at Rainbow Island, Sea Island’s relaxed marsh-front setting, and continues with meet-and-greets with distinguished industry veterans and classic family games.

SATURDAY, JUNE 23:
A full day of cooking demonstrations, cookbook signings and tastings awaits guests on Saturday.

SUNDAY, JUNE 24:
11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.; $42
The weekend homage to the South concludes with a Sunday Southern Gospel Brunch at The Lodge at Sea Island. Guests will dine on Southern brunch staples such as Chicken and Waffles, Biscuits and Gravy, Cotton Cakes and Grits, all while enjoying the sounds of Gospel Singers.
