| Description | MOCA Jacksonville presents Imagination Squared opening September 1st during Artwalk. Artists Christina Foard and Dolf James initiated Imagination Squared: The Creative Response Experiment in order to showcase the importance of arts in education (and life) by giving a stage to the collective creative momentum happening in Jacksonville. Over that last few months they have built hundreds of gessoed boxes with the idea of trying to get one into the hands of every artist in the Jacksonville area and then creating a huge grid to hang in a public location. The result is a snapshot of Jacksonville’s imagination. MOCA Jacksonville is proud to host such an amazing response of over 900 local artists who have all contributed to this community art work.
